Keeping Baby Warm is no problem with WrapAround Bunting w/Drawstring Hood
Quick and Easy pattern for Intermediate to Advanced knitter. Shaped hood with drawing is designed to fit snuggly around the face. Knit in Stockinette Stitch with Plymouth Encore Colorspun yarn (75% acrylic and 25% wool-machine washable). Ribbon is drawn thru at bottom to make bunting smaller for the newborn. (2) button front. Body is knit in one piece and requires 84+ needles or 28" knitting board. Can be done in (3) pieces on smaller boards.
Finished size is aprox 19" long X 14" wide with hood aprox 9" high.
Needed:
- Knitting board with 84+ needles(28" Knitting Board)
- Knit hook for hooking the loops
- Crochet hook for finishing the edges
- Large sewing needle for sewing hood to body
- Satin ribbon: 1/4" wide X 24"
