Here's a Really Easy Cape for the Beginner Knitter. Retangular Cape with Button.
Cast On 84 stitches (full width of 28" knitting board) and it's all Stockinette Stitch. Two large pearl buttons and buttonholes to secure the cape. The rolled neckline can be worn as shown or folded over for a collar effect. Finished size is aprox 30" X 60".
Easy pattern for beginner; can be knit smooth with knitting worsted.
Needed:
- Knitting Board with 84+ needles or 28" knitting board
- Knit hook for hooking the loops
- Crochet hook for finishing edges
